  1. Take the thawed turkey out of the fridge 1 HOUR before you put it in the oven.
  2. Remove giblets from turkey cavities before cooking.
  3. Your turkey will stay moist with or without the legs tied.
  4. Always plan for an extra hour of cook time to be safe.
  5. Cook until internal temperature registers 165° F with a meat thermometer.
  6. Let turkey rest 30 minutes before carving.
