Directions
- Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease two (2) 9-in round pans with oil/spray.
- Open cherry pie filling, and set aside 6-8 cherries.
- Combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and cherry pie filling, until fully incorporated.
- Pour mixture into greased pans and bake for 30 - 40 minutes. After 30 minutes, check cake using a toothpick. If not done, cook another 10 minutes.
- Allow cake to cool for 30 minutes then apply white icing.
- Place icing between cake layers and on the outside of the cake.
- Place chocolate chips in a food processor, then garnish cake with the pieces and cherries which were set aside.
- Enjoy.
