Slow Cooker Garlic Mashed Potatoes

3 Lbs Idaho Potatoes
3 Cups Water
3/4 Tsp Garlic Powder
1 Tsp Seasoned Salt
1/2 Tsp Ground Black Pepper
4 Tbsp Butter
3/4 Cup Buttermilk
3/4 Cup Sour Cream
3 Green Onions



  1. Wash the potatoes and dice into one inch pieces. Combine the potatoes, garlic and salt in the slow cooker and stir.
  2. Add water until the potatoes are covered. Cook on low for 4 to 6 hours (or until potatoes are tender).
  3. Drain potatoes and place them back in the slow cooker to mash. Add butter, buttermilk and sour cream and continue mashing.
  4. Season with salt and pepper and sprinkle with green onions before serving.
