Directions

  1. Place skillet over stove on medium heat. Add 2 tbsp of oil once hot. Sauté onions, peppers, and garlic for 3-5 minutes.
  2. In a large cast iron or grill safe pan, add all of the ingredients, except green onions, stirring to ensure it is fully mixed.
  3. Allow to cook for 15 minutes, stirring every few minutes.
  4. Let cool for a few minutes, then garnish with green onions.

Recipe Tips

  • Top with bacon bits if desired
  • Add 1 tsp of Onion Powder, Cumin, and Garlic Powder if desired
  • Pairs well with pulled pork

  • Wylwood Black Beans 2 cans
  • Fairhill Farms Tomato Sauce 1 can
  • Kurtz Mustard 1/4 cup
  • Kurtz Apple Cider Vinegar 1 tbsp
  • Kurtz Worcestershire Sauce 1 tsp
  • Ginger Evans Brown Sugar 1/4 cup
  • Marcum Paprika 1 tsp
  • Marcum Chili Powder 1 tsp
  • Marcum Cayenne Pepper 1/4 tsp
  • Marcum Black Pepper 1/2 tsp
  • Marcum Salt to taste
  • Yellow Onion, diced 1/2 cup
  • Green Bell Pepper, diced 1/2 cup
  • Garlic, minced 2 tsp
  • Green Onion, sliced for garnish
