Fried Apples & Cranberries

Directions
- Peel, then slice, apples into roughly 1/2in thick slices. Melt butter in a skillet over medium heat.
- Once butter is melted, add sliced apples. Then pour in the juice of one squeezed lemon.
- Coat apples well and allow to simmer until most of the butter is absorbed, stirring occasionally, about 5 minutes.
- About halfway through mix in the dried cranberries.
- Do not overcook, the apples should be tender but still slightly firm.
- Sprinkle brown sugar over apples and mix well to combine. Lower heat and cook until all the sugar is dissolved into a syrup.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle cinnamon over apples. Combine well and serve.

- 1/2 cup Ginger Evans Brown Sugar
