Navy Bean Soup

Directions
- Soak beans over night or use quick soak method. Drain.
- Add all the ingredients to a large pot. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 2 ½ hours or until beans are soft. Add more water if needed.
- Remove bay leaf and season to taste with salt and pepper.
Ingredients
- 1 lb Wylwood Navy Beans
- 1 (14.5 oz.) can Pickwell Farms Diced Tomatoes
- 1 Large Onion, 1/2-inch dice (about 1 cup)
- 1 cup of one of the following: Diced Salt Pork, Fresh Pork, Ham or Cooked Bacon; or Small Ham Hock
- 2 cups Marcum Chicken Broth
- 3 1/2 cups Water
- 1 tsp Marcum Parsley Flakes
- 1 tsp Marcum Soul Seasoning
- 1 Marcum Bay Leaves
- Marcum Salt and Black Pepper Ground, to taste
