Jalapeno Popper Grilled Cheese

  • 8 slices Grissom’s Sandwich Bread
  • 4 Slices Coburn Farms Colby Jack, slices
  • 4 Slices Coburn Farms Sharp Cheddar, slices
  • 4 oz Cream Cheese
  • As Desired, Fresh or Senora Verde Jalapeno Slices
  • 16 Strips Farmington Bacon
  • 4 tbsp Coburn Farms Butter
  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees
  2. Next line a pan with foil, and place a cooking rack over. Spray the rack with cooking spray then lay strips on the rack
  3. Allow bacon to cook for 15-20 minutes or until they reach your desired level of crispiness
  4. Once bacon is done let cool. Nex put a large skillet on the stove top over medium heat.
  5. Allow the pan to get hot then add 1 tbsp of butter per sandwich. Toast the bread for 2 minutes then flip.
  6. Now add a smear of cream cheese to each slice of bread , then a slice of Colby on one piece of bread, a slice of cheddar, on another.
  7. Follow that with 2 slices of bacon to each slice of bread and the desired amount of jalapenos
  8. Lower the heat to medium low, then let bread toast for 5 -7 minutes
  9. Assemble the sandwich then enjoy!
  • Add fresh chopped cilantro or green onion
