Directions
- Season ground beef with salt and pepper, then separate the beef into eight 4oz patties.
- In a bowl, mix together Ketchup, Thousand Island Dressing and Worcestershire to make the sauce.
- In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the burgers by smashing the burger when placing in the pan, and cook for 3-4 minutes each side.
- Remove the burgers from the pan and place on a plate.
- In the same pan, place 1 tbsp of butter, then two slices of bread, sauce each side, place one slice of American Cheese on one bread and one slice of Swiss Cheese on the other.
- Once the cheese starts to melt, place a burger on each side, let cook for another 30 seconds - 1 minute, assemble and enjoy.

- 2 lb of Ground Beef
- 4 slices of Coburn Farms Sliced American Cheese
- 4 slices of Coburn Farms Sliced Swiss Cheese
- 8 slices of Sourdough Bread or Rye
- 4 tbsp of Coburn Farms Butter or Margarine
- Marcum Salt & Pepper to taste
- SAL Sauce:
- 1/3 cup of Kurtz Ketchup
- 2/3 cup of Kurtz Thousand Island Dressing
- 2 tbsp of Kurtz Worcestershire
