Beefy French Onion Skillet

  • 1lb Ground Beef, fresh
  • 1 Yellow Onion, diced
  • 1 cup Simple
    Earth
    Long Grain White Rice, dry
  • 1 cup Marcum Beef Broth
  • 1 pouch Kaskey’s Onion Soup Mix
  • 1-1 1/2 Coburn Farms Swiss Singles, diced
  • 1 tsp Medeiro’s Vegetable Oil
  1. Heat 12″ skillet over medium heat. Add oil, then beef and onion.
  2. Crumble beef while cooking and cook until browned. Drain grease.
  3. Stir in rice, broth, and onion soup mix. Heat to a boil then reduce to simmer.
  4. Cover with lid and cook for 15 minutes until rice is tender. Stir halfway through.
  5. Remove from heat; stir in cheese. Cover with lid for 2 minutes or until cheese is melted.
