Beefy French Onion Pasta

- 1lb Ground Beef, fresh
- 1 Yellow Onion, diced
- 4 oz Mantia’s Elbow Macaroni
- 1 cup Marcum Beef Broth
- 1 pouch Kaskey’s Onion Soup Mix
- 1-1 1/2 Coburn Farms Swiss Singles, diced
- 1/2 tsp Marcum Salt
- 1/2 tsp Marcum Pepper
- 1 tsp Medeiro’s Vegetable Oil
- Bring a large pot to boil; add salt. Add noodles and cook for 15-20 minutes
- While noodles are cooking, heat 12″ skillet over medium heat. Add oil, then beef and onion.
- Crumble beef while cooking and cook until browned. Drain grease.
- Pour beef stock and seasoning packet into skillet and stir until packet is fully incorporated.
- Cover with lid and cook 5-10 minutes until beef is tender. Stir halfway through.
- Remove from heat and stir in cheese. Continue stirring until sauce is completely mixed.
- Once pasta noodles are cooked, drain and mix pasta with beef and sauce.
- Add croutons before the cheese to give a classic french onion texture
- Add 2 tsp of Worcestershire to sauce
- For a thinner sauce, add in a tsp to tbsp of pasta water
- For a thicker sauce, add in 1 tsp of flour, before step 4, make sure the flour is well incorporated into the product.
- Add in the second packet of soup mix for even more french onion flavor
