Directions
- Cook bacon ahead of time and keep warm.
- Divide ground beef into 4 (6-oz.) burger patties, about 4-5 inches wide. Press an indentation into center of patty to help maintain its shape during cooking.
- Season patties on both sides with a few pinches of Sizzling Burger seasoning rub.
- Preheat skillet or grill to high heat (400-500°F). Grease pan or grates.
- Cook hamburgers 4-6 minutes per side or to desired doneness. The recommended internal cooking temperature for ground beef is 160°F which is a “well done” burger.
- Remove burgers from direct heat and melt cheese slices.
- Assemble burger patties on buns and top each with 2 slices of bacon, about 2 tablespoons of French fried onions, jalapeno slices (optional), and BBQ sauce. Enjoy!
