Apple Cider Glazed Ham

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 10 minutes
Yields: 10

  • 8-9 lb. fully cooked spiral ham
  • 1 cup water
  • 1/2 cup Ginger Evans Brown Sugar
  • 1/2 cup Tipton Grove Apple Cider
  • 1 Tbsp. Kurtz Apple Cider Vinegar
  • 1 Tbsp. Kurtz Dijon Mustard
  • 1/2 tsp. Marcum Allspice
  • 1/4 tsp. Marcum Ground Clove
  • 1/4 tsp. Marcum Ground Cinnamon
  • Pinch Marcum Ground Nutmeg
  1. Preheat oven to 300 ° Place ham cut side down in a roasting pan and add water to the bottom of the pan. Cover ham with foil and bake for 1 hour and 40 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 135 °F.
  2. Meanwhile, make the glaze. Combine all glaze ingredients in a small saucepan and bring to a simmer over low heat. Simmer and stir until sauce has thickened and reduced to ½ cup, about 8-10 minutes. Remove from heat.
  3. Once ham has heated through, remove from oven. Increase oven temperature to 400 ° Brush glaze over surface and return to oven, uncovered, for 10 minutes or until glaze is caramelized.
  4. Allow ham to rest for 10 minutes before serving.
