Raisin Oatmeal Cookies

1 Cup Raisins
2 3/4 Cups Rolled Oats
3/4 Cup, Softened Butter
3/4 Cup White Sugar
3/4 Cup Light Brown Sugar
2 Grade A Large Eggs
1 Tsp Pure Vanilla Extract
1 1/4 Cups All Purpose Flour
1 Tsp Baking Soda
3/4 Tsp Ground Cinnamon
1/2 Tsp Iodized Salt



  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the following ingredients until smooth: butter, white sugar, and brown sugar.
  3. Beat in the eggs and vanilla until fluffy and stir together flour, baking soda, cinnamon and salt. Gradually beat into butter mixture and stir in oats and raisins.
  4. After completing, drop the dough by the teaspoon onto your un-greased cookie sheets in order to bake.
  5. Place the cookie sheets into your preheated over for 8 to 10 minutes or until golden brown. After cooling slightly, remove from the sheet to wire rack in order to cool completely - and enjoy!
