Banana Bread

  • 3 Bananas, mashed
  • 2 cups Ginger Evans All Purpose Flour
  • 1 Good Nature Large Egg, room temperature
  • 3/4 cup Ginger Evans Brown Sugar, packed
  • 2/3 cup Ginger Evans Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Nutsome Chopped Walnuts
  • 8 tbsp Coburn Farms Butter, softened
  • 1 tsp Ginger Evans Baking Soda
  • 2 tsp Marcum Ground Cinnamon
  • 1/2 tsp Marcum Salt
  1. Adjust oven rack for the lowest possible position. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  2. In a large bowl, mix together butter and sugar until it reaches a creamy consistency.
  3. In the same bowl, mix in eggs and mashed bananas.
  4. In a separate bowl, combine flour, salt, baking soda and cinnamon.
  5. Mix the dry ingredients with the wet ingredients.
  6. Gently fold in the chocolate chips and walnuts.
  7. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan. Top with more chocolate chips or nuts. Bake for 50 minutes.
  8. Halfway through baking, cover the bread with aluminum foil.
  9. After 50 minutes, insert a toothpick into the center and it should come out clean with a few moist crumbs.
  10. Allow bread to cool then enjoy!
