Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line cupcake pan with oil/spray or with cupcake liners.
  2. Open cherry pie filling and set aside 6-8 cherries.
  3. Combine cake mix, eggs, oil, and cherry pie filling, until fully incorporated.
  4. Pour mixture into greased cupcake pan and bake for 19-24 minutes.
  5. After cook time, check cupcakes using a toothpick. If not done, cook an additional 2-3 minutes.
  6. Allow cupcakes to cool for 30 minutes then apply white icing.
  7. Place chocolate chips in a food processor, then garnish cupcakes with the pieces and cherries.
  8. Enjoy.
