Directions
- Heat a large skillet over medium heat. Add 2 tbsp of oil then sear off, 5 minutes each side. Remove from pan and set aside.
- Cook onion, carrots, and celery in the pan with the oil, for around 2-3 minutes.
- Pour in red wine, and bring to a boil, scraping all the cooked bits off of the bottom, cook for 8-10 minutes, then add canned tomatoes.
- Add beef, potatoes, bay leaf, beef stew seasoning, and Italian seasoning to pan along with beef broth and tomato sauce.
- Bring to a simmer, cover, and let cook for 4 hours.
- After 4 hours, remove from heat, and enjoy.
Recipe Tips
- Add garlic and crushed red pepper for a more authentic Italian flavor
- Fresh Rosemary, Parsley and Basil can also lighten up the dish

- 1 Potatoes, peel and medium dice
- 1 Onions, medium dice
- 3 stalks Celery, dice
- 1 can Fairhill Farms, Canned Diced Tomatoes
- 1can Fairhill Farms Tomato Sauce
- 1 can Marcum Beef Broth
- 1 packet Marcum Beef Stew Seasoning Mix
- 2 tbsp Marcum Italian Seasoning
- 2 leaves Marcum Bay Leaf
- 1 cup Red Wine
