Salsa Verde

8 Tomatillos, husked
1/4 Cup Onion, chopped
2 Garlic Cloves
2 Tbsp Fresh Cilantro, chopped
1 Cup Water
1 Small Jalapeño Pepper, seeds removed and chopped
Salt and pepper, to taste


Want more spice? Add an extra jalapeño for an extra kick!


  1. Broil tomatillos for 5-8 minutes or until slightly charred. Make sure to remove core and husk before broiling.
  2. Add broiled tomatillos and remaining ingredients to a blender. Blend until completely combined.
  3. Add salt and pepper to taste.
  4. Store in fridge and serve cold.
