Directions
- Combine all the ingredients, except for the Mackerel, in a small saucepan over low heat.
- Cook for 20 minutes, watch for the lemon pieces to become slightly translucent and soft enough to eat. If they are still firm after 20 minutes cook for 10 more.
- Combine ingredients with the Mackerel in a separate bowl and serve on a saltine cracker.
Recipe Tips
- Add in crushed red pepper for another kick
- Serve with pasta or on toasted bread besides crackers.

- 1 lemon Lemon, sliced in thick quartered slices
- 1/2 cup Medeiros Olive Oil
- 10 peppercorns Marcum Black Peppercorn
- 1 tsp Ginger Evans Granulated Sugar
