Directions

  1. Preheat grill to medium heat and spray or oil the grates.
  2. Portion beef into six evenly distributed patties. Season with salt, pepper and the meat tenderizer. Place in refrigerator until ready to grill.
  3. In medium sized skillet over medium heat, melt butter, then sauté mushrooms for 3 minutes.
  4. Add soy sauce and allow mushrooms to brown, stirring often for about 4-5 minutes. Set aside until patties are cooked.
  5. Grill patties for about 6 minutes per side or until they reach the desired level of doneness.
  6. Place a spoonful of mushrooms on each patty, then cover with Swiss cheese. Allow cheese to melt then place on a hamburger bun.

Recipe Tips

  • Sauté sliced onions along with mushrooms.
  • Grill your buns for 30 seconds to a minute.
  • Pairs well with mustard.

  • Marcum Meat Tenderizer 1/2 tsp
  • Marcum Black Pepper to taste
  • Marcum Salt to taste
