Directions
- Preheat grill to medium heat and spray or oil the grates.
- Portion beef into six evenly distributed patties. Season with salt, pepper and the meat tenderizer. Place in refrigerator until ready to grill.
- In medium sized skillet over medium heat, melt butter, then sauté mushrooms for 3 minutes.
- Add soy sauce and allow mushrooms to brown, stirring often for about 4-5 minutes. Set aside until patties are cooked.
- Grill patties for about 6 minutes per side or until they reach the desired level of doneness.
- Place a spoonful of mushrooms on each patty, then cover with Swiss cheese. Allow cheese to melt then place on a hamburger bun.
Recipe Tips
- Sauté sliced onions along with mushrooms.
- Grill your buns for 30 seconds to a minute.
- Pairs well with mustard.

- Kurtz Soy Sauce 2 tbs
- Coburn Farms Butter 2 tsp
- Marcum Meat Tenderizer 1/2 tsp
- Marcum Black Pepper to taste
- Marcum Salt to taste
