How long have you been a Meat cutter? 10 years

How long have you been with Save A Lot? 15 years

How did you get your start in the meat retail business? I started in grocery as a stocker/cashier.

Favorite part of the job? I get to choose the best steaks and ribeyes to my liking and I can let everyone know what great deals we have.

What’s your favorite cut of meat? Ribeye

What makes your meat department the place to shop/sets you apart? We have a bell so we can attend to our customers quickly and conveniently. We can help them one on one.

How many different products would you estimate are available in the fresh meat program at your store? Over 75 items

What’s the funniest question or request you’ve received from a shopper? A customer asked for two packs of chicken feet so it was worth it to cut all the nails off the feet when he got home. Just one package wasn’t worth the time!

What’s a favorite experience or memory from working for Save A Lot? Having a good time and cutting up with the fellas in the meat dept.

What’s your favorite Save A Lot private label product? Marcum beer can and mesquite dry seasonings.

What do you like to do on your day off? Play disc golf and hang out with my family (including my 2 year old!)
