Honey Grilled Shrimp Kabobs

Total Time: 40 minutes – 2 hours
Yields: 4

  • 1 bag Portside Raw Shrimp, 40-60 ct
  • 1/2 cup Kurtz Italian Dressing
  • 1/2 cup Bramley’s 100% Pure Honey Bear
  • Two, cut into 1″ pieces Vidalia Onions.
  • Two, cut into 1″ pieces Bell Peppers any color
  • Two, cut into 1″ cubes Mango
  • 1 tsp Marcum Crushed Red Pepper
  • Marcum Seafood Seasoning
  • Marcum salt & pepper, and metal or bamboo skewers.
  1. Combine the dressing and honey. Reserve ¼ cup and set aside.
  2. Remove tails from shrimp. Place shrimp and remaining marinade in a large zipper bag. Marinate for 30 minutes – 2 hours.
  3. Remove shrimp from bag and discard the marinade.
  4. Thread shrimp onto skewers, alternate onion, mango, shrimp then bell pepper.
  5. Turn the grill on medium heat. Oil/ grease grates with spray or an oiled rag.
  6. Seaon with salt & pepper. Place skewers on grill and cook until shrimp are pink and slightly charred, about 1 minute per side.
  7. Baste with reserved marinade as the shrimp cook. Remove shrimp from grill.
  8. Serve with cooked rice or salad greens, and enjoy!
  • If using bamboo skewers, soak them in water for 10 minutes to prevent burning.
  • Season with Marcum Seafood Seasoning for a shrimp boil flavor profile.
  • Add a tsp of Marcum Crushed Red Pepper to marinade for a kick.
  • Use the trimmings from the bell peppers, onion and mango to make a sauce.
  • In a sauce pan, on medium heat add oil, the trimmings, and some garlic. let simmer while creating the skewers. season with salt, pepper, and ginger, then blend until smooth
