Save A Lot is proud to celebrate three outstanding women who were recently recognized for their contributions to the grocery industry by The Shelby Report. Click here to learn more about this year’s winners.

Carrol Cheatwood, Save A Lot Area Business Consultant was recognized for her commitment in supporting Save A Lot’s largest Retail Partner. On a daily basis Cheatwood is helping her Retail Partner grow their profitability while also supporting them through the remodels of their stores. Over the past two years, Cheatwood has helped her Retail Partner complete 65 remodels with another 18 set for completion this August. Her ability to provide guidance to the Retail Partner has proved to be invaluable for their success.

Alicia Cook, Save A Lot Category Director was honored with this award for her leadership over key areas of center store including beverages, snacks, candy and ethnic foods. Cook’s ability to grow private label offerings helps in many ways. It helps customers by helping them save money on the foods they really love. Her other driving force with this work is being able to deliver products that help Save A Lot’s network of independent business owners quality products they can add to their assortment for customers.

Jennifer Hopper, Save A Lot Chief Information and Digital Officer was recognized for her leadership in helping the company improve its digital footprint in its over 800 locations across 32 states. Leading a team of Information Technology professionals, Hopper was able to streamline internal processes to help improve operations at Save A Lot’s distribution centers which in turn, helped make the customer experience better.
