Save A Lot Retail Partner Leevers Supermarkets recently received an honorable mention from the National Grocers Association (NGA) for their Tamale Display contest. The Colorado-based grocer sponsored a contest across all of its 14 Colorado stores to celebrate the holiday tamale season, which runs from October through January. All participating stores showcased their creative efforts, reflecting the vibrant spirit of their communities. Robert Valero, manager of the Save A Lot located at 4255 W. Florida Ave won the Leevers Supermarkets contest with a festive and inviting display.
This honorable mention by NGA was part of their 2024 Creative Choice Awards which recognizes outstanding marketing and merchandising programs among independent grocery retailers.
