Just in time for the back-to-school season, Philadelphia area Retail Partner Shawn Rinnier is helping kids in the Camden, N.J. community start off on the right foot with a donation of backpacks and school supplies.

On August 23 and 30, Rinnier’s team was on hand to partner with Camden Mayor Victor Carstarphen to donate backpacks full of notebooks, crayons, pencils and glue for attendees at the Clean Camden Campaign. The event was put on to help the Camden community come together to clean up neighborhoods while also helping children get ready for the upcoming school year.

“I’m so proud of my team for doing what they do best-showing what it means to be a part of team Save A Lot here in Camden,” said Shawn Rinnier, store owner. “The store here is so special to me. It’s my flagship. So, to be able to give back in this way really means a lot to me and my team.”

The Camden store, located at 2881 Mt. Ephraim Ave was relocated into a new, larger modern space shortly after Rinnier and his wife, Susan, acquired the location in June 2022. Together, the Rinnier’s own and operate 19 Save A Lot locations across the greater Philadelphia area and two in Delaware.
