SAVE A LOT®  5-Minute Shopping Spree Sweepstakes

ELIGIBILITY: The Save A Lot® 5-Minute Shopping Spree Online Sweepstakes (referred to herein as the “Sweepstakes”) is open all legal U.S. residents of the fifty (50) states and the District of Columbia who are at least 18 years of age as of the date of entry. Employees of Moran Foods, LLC d/b/a Save-A-Lot, Ltd. (hereinafter, the “Sponsor”) during the Sweepstakes Period and its parent company, affiliates, subsidiaries and agencies, as well as their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children and siblings, and their respective spouses) and persons living in the household of each, are not eligible to participate.
SWEEPSTAKES DATES: The Sweepstakes starts on Sunday, August 13, 2023 at 12:00:01 a.m. Central Time (“CT”) and ends on Sunday, August 20, 2023 at 11:59:59 p.m. CT (the “Sweepstakes Period”).
HOW TO ENTER: To enter the Sweepstakes, visit the Sponsor’s website at savealot.com/spree during the Sweepstakes Period and follow the on-screen instructions to sign up for the Save A Lot® e-mail distribution list. All entries must be received within the Sweepstakes Period. Sponsor’s computer is the official clock for this Sweepstakes. Limit of one (1) entry per person. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an online entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the person in whose name the email account is registered at time of entry, but only if that person meets all other eligibility criteria. All entries become the property of the Sponsor, and will not be acknowledged or returned.
RANDOM DRAWING: One (1) potential winner will be selected in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received for that Sweepstakes Period. The drawings will take place on or around the Wednesday following the last day for entries to be received for the Sweepstakes Period. Odds of winning depend upon the total number of eligible entries received in the Sweepstakes Period. All drawings will be conducted by Sponsor, whose decisions are final on all matters relating to the Sweepstakes.
PRIZE: During the Sweepstakes Period, one (1) potential Winner will be eligible to win a shopping spree lasting five (5) minutes at the Save A Lot store selected by Sponsor upon selection of the Winner (the “Prize”). The Winner will get to keep all products collected in the shopping cart(s) during the five (5) minutes, except any Excluded Items (as defined below). Only the Winner may participate in the Prize, provided, however, in the event the Winner is unable to perform the tasks necessary to participate in the Prize, Winner may designate in advance of the start of the Prize one (1) individual to participate in the Prize on Winner’s behalf. For the avoidance of doubt, only one (1) person can participate in the Prize. Winner, or Winner’s designee, shall only be permitted to have in their control one shopping cart at a time, but additional shopping carts will be available for Winner or Winner’s designee, as needed, at location’s determined solely by Sponsor. Winner, or Winner’s designee, must start the Prize in Sponsor’s designated location. Sponsor shall keep time; Sponsor shall update Winner, or Winner’s designee, of the remaining time throughout the Prize. Sponsor shall notify Winner, or Winner’s designated of the end of the allotted time by buzzer or similar instrument. At the end of the allotted time, Winner, or Winner’s designee, shall cease filling the shopping cart(s) and shall proceed directly to Sponsor’s designated location.
Gift cards, alcohol, tobacco products, lottery tickets, and any items put into the shopping cart(s) after the end of the Prize are excluded (“Excluded Items”) and cannot be added to the Winner’s, or Winner’s designee’s, cart; in the event any Excluded Items are presented in the Winner’s, or Winner’s designee’s, cart, they will be removed and Winner will not be eligible to win those Excluded Items, any replacement products to the Excluded Items, or the cash value of the Excluded Items. Approximate retail value (ARV) of the Prize is $2,000. All charges, fees and costs not specifically included in the prize descriptions above, including but not limited to personal incidental items, transportation, taxes, souvenirs, gratuities, and licenses, are the responsibility of the respective prize Winner and their guests.
Any entrants found to be under the age of majority in their state of residence shall be disqualified. Winners will be notified by e-mail and will have approximately forty-eight (48) hours to claim their prize. In the event that the winners cannot be reached by e-mail or do not claim their prize within said forty-eight (48) hour period, an alternate winner will be selected.
Prizes consist solely of those items specifically listed, may not be transferred or redeemed for cash and are subject to all terms and conditions of use as established by issuer. No substitutions are allowed except at the sole discretion of the Sponsor. Upon presentation or delivery to winners, prizes become the sole property and responsibility of the recipients and will not be replaced by the Sponsor if lost or stolen.
Non-winning entrants will not be notified. Winner’s entry and acceptance of any prize constitutes permission (except where prohibited by law) for the Sponsor to use said winner’s name, photograph, likeness, statements, biographical information, voice, and address (city and state) on a worldwide basis, and in all forms of media, in perpetuity, without notice or further compensation.
SWEEPSTAKES TERMS & CONDITIONS: Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, and local laws. By participating, entrants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and waive any right to claim ambiguity in regard to the mechanics of the Sweepstakes or the interpretation of these Official Rules. Any person attempting to defraud or in any way tamper with the mechanics or logistics of this Sweepstakes will be declared ineligible and may be prosecuted to the full extent of the law. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for incomplete, incorrect or inaccurate entry information, human error or technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any computer equipment or software, or any combination thereof, or for lost, stolen, late or misdirected entries. Sponsor assumes no responsibility for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operation or transmission, communications line failure, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries. Sponsor is not responsible for any problems or technical malfunction of any telephone network or lines, computer online systems, servers or providers, computer equipment, software, failure of email due to technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or at any website or combination thereof, including injury or damage to entrants or to any other person’s computer related to, or resulting from, participating in or downloading of materials in this contest. If, for any reason, the Sweepstakes is not capable of running as planned, including, without limitation, infection by computer virus, bugs, worms, tampering, unauthorized intervention, fraud, technical failures, or any other causes beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor that may corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Sweepstakes, Sponsor reserves the right at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes.
LIMITATION OF LIABILITY: By participating in the Sweepstakes, entrants agree to release and hold harmless the Sponsor, its parent, their directors, officers, employees and agents, from any and all liability, claims or actions for any injuries, losses or damages, claims, actions and any liability of any kind resulting from (i) promotion, execution, or administration of, or participation in, the Sweepstakes, (ii) the use of any website related to the Sweepstakes or any materials on such website(s), (iii) the acceptance, possession, or use/misuse/nonuse of any prize, or attendance at, travel to/from, or participation in a Sweepstakes related event, or (iv) cancellation or modification of any aspect of the Sweepstakes. This Sweepstakes and these Official Rules shall be interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri without regard to its principles of conflicts of law. Jurisdiction and venue shall be solely within Saint Louis, Missouri. As a condition of participating in this Sweepstakes, entrants agree that any and all disputes and causes of action against Sponsor arising out of or in connection with this Sweepstakes shall be resolved individually (without resort to any form of class action). Any such dispute shall be resolved by mediation and binding arbitration.
PRIVACY AND USE OF SWEEPSTAKES INFORMATION. Sponsor collects personal information from you when you enter this Sweepstakes. Sponsor reserves the right to use any information collected in accordance with its privacy policy, which may be found at https://savealot.com/privacy-policy.
ALL PRIZES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO, WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. REMEDIES SHALL BE SUBJECT TO ALL LIMITATIONS AND RELEASES IN THESE RULES, BE LIMITED TO ACTUAL OUT OF POCKET DAMAGES, AND SHALL NOT, IN ANY EVENT, INCLUDE ANY PUNITIVE, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL OR INCIDENTAL DAMAGES, ATTORNEY’S FEES OR OTHER COSTS OF BRINGING A CLAIM, OR ANY INJUNCTIVE OR OTHER EQUITABLE RELIEF. SOME JURISDICTIONS MAY NOT ALLOW EXCLUSIONS OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. CHECK YOUR LOCAL LAWS.
WINNER’S LIST: To request the list of winners, send an e-mail with subject line: “5-Minute Shopping Spree Online Sweepstakes” to [email protected]. Requests must be received no later than September 3, 2023. The list will be sent once the drawing has been conducted and the winner verified.
