Top Treats for Easter

Chocolate Eggs in Shopping Cart

With Easter fast approaching, Save A Lot is ready to help you fill your basket or provide you with the ease of a ready-made one! We dug deep into one of our favorite categories in the store (candy!) to find out what Easter sweet treats have reigned supreme for our shoppers the past few years.  Spoiler alert – our customers are consistent when it comes to stocking up on their Easter candy favorites at Save A Lot. Drumroll please…

The top selling items customers consistently purchased three years in a row were our pre-made Easter baskets, available in one of three varieties: candy, toy and sport.  The #2 candy that consistently remained in shoppers’ baskets from 2019-2021 were Starburst Original Jellybeans – a true crowd pleaser we know will be on our customers’ lists again this year.

But let’s not forget about the chocolate. Other fan-favorite candies our customers couldn’t get enough of include Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs, Mars Easter Minis Mix, Whoppers Robin Eggs and Cadbury Mini Eggs. It’s safe to say our customers gravitate towards pre-made baskets, but love having the option to mix in other favorites. So, whether you love the convenience of a pre-made basket or like building your own, Save A Lot has you covered this Easter.

While you’re in your favorite Save A Lot location stocking up on sweet treats or checking the digital ad online, remember to enter Save A Lot’s “Fill Your Basket” Sweepstakes.
