Turkey Cooking Tips:


1. Take the thawed turkey out of the fridge 1 HOUR before you put it in the over. This allows the turkey to cook more evenly and faster.

2. Remove giblets from the turkey cavities before cooking. Everything but the liver can be used to made an excellent gravy for other dishes.

3. Your turkey will stay moist with or without the legs tied. To tie or not to tie is a personal preference.


4. Always plan for an extra hour of cook time to be safe and not leave guests waiting.

5. Cook until internal temperature registers 165℉ with a meat thermometer.

6. Let your turkey rest for 20 minutes before carving to allow juices to set.
