Grilled Lemon Pepper Chicken Wings
Ingredients:
- 3 lbs Fresh Chicken Wings, thawed
- 1 Fresh Lemon
- 12 oz (2) Iceberg Garden Salad Kit
- 3 Tbsp Ginger Evans Brown Sugar
- 1/3 Cup Marcum Lemon Pepper
- 2 tsp Marcum Onion Powder
- 2 tsp Marcum Garlic Powder
- 2 tsp Marcum Paprika
- 1 tsp Marcum Chili Powder
- 2 tsp Marcum Salt
- 1 1/2 tsp Marcum Black Pepper
Directions:
- Measure out dry ingredients, and mix them together in a bowl until fully incorporated.
- Toss thawed wings in the seasoning making sure each wing is evenly coated with a generous amount of seasoning.
- Preheat grill on medium – high heat.
- Once grill is hot, use a grill-safe nonstick spray or brush oil on the grates to ensure wings do not stick.
- Place wings on oiled grill grates and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side. Turn wings so they become crispy.
- Move chicken wings to indirect heat and continue to cook with the lid closed for another 6-8 minute or until 165°F.
- Squeeze lemon over wings before serving.
- Prepare salad kit with your favorite Kurtz Dressing.
Recipe tips:
- Garnish with chopped parsley for a pop of color
- Add 1/4 tsp of cayenne for a spicy take on this recipe
- Zest 1 whole lemon for an added citrus component
- Use the Marcum Lemon Pepper Salt Free option if you want less sodium
