Directions
- Prepare the onions: Peel and trim the ends. Cut a slit down one side of the onion. Place a pot on the stove top and allow to boil.
- Boil the onions for 10-12 minutes until softened. Allow to cool then separate layers into "shells".
- Filling: In a bowl, combine ground beef, cooked rice, cheese, chopped onion, garlic, Worcestershire, ketchup and seasonings.
- Fill each onion shell with 1-2 tablespoons of filling, then wrap the ends.
- Arrange stuffed onions in a deep skillet or pot.
- Mix sauce ingredients and pour over onions.
- Cover and simmer on low for 35–45 minutes until cooked through.

- Garnish with Parsley or Green Onions
- Serve with Mashed potatoes, green beans or dinner rolls

- 1 cup Coburn Farms Shredded Cheddar
- 3/4 cup Simple Earth White Rice, cooked
- 2 cloves Garlic, Minced
- 1 tbs Kurtz Worcestershire
- 1 tbs Kurtz Ketchup
- 1 tsp Marcum Paprika
- 1 tsp Marcum Salt
- 1/2 tsp Marcum Oregano
- 1/2 tsp Marcum Black Pepper
- 1/2 cup Diced Onion
