Directions

  1. Add 2 tbsp of Marcum Sizzilin' Burger Seasoning to the ground beef.
  2. Divide beef into 8 loose balls about 3-3 1/2 oz each.
  3. Heat skillet or griddle over medium‑high to high heat. Add oil and let it get hot.
  4. Place 2 beef balls in the pan (don’t overcrowd). Immediately smash each ball flat using a spatula (use parchment between spatula and beef if needed).
  5. Add additional seasoning if desired. In a separate pan, add 1 tbsp of oil over medium heat and sauté onions for 5-7 minutes.
  6. Cook patties for 2-3 minutes, or until edges get brown and crispy. Then flip.
  7. Add cheese to each patty after flipping and cook for 1-2 minutes.
  8. Toast buns and assemble burgers.
  9. Place 2 patties on the bottom pun, sautéed onions, then additional toppings of your choice.
