ARTHUR, IL (May 14, 2026) – Save A Lot, one of the largest independently owned and operated value-focused grocery chains in the U.S., celebrated the grand opening of its newest store located at 215 S. Vine St in Arthur, Illinois, with community events, giveaways and special promotions.

The new store offers Arthur residents access to Save A Lot’s selection of fresh produce, meat cut daily in store, everyday grocery essentials and private label products at affordable prices.
To mark the occasion, Save A Lot hosted a grand opening celebration where the first 100 customers received a free prepackaged bag of grocery items. Store leadership then hosted city officials and community members for a ribbon cutting followed by various prize giveaways and hot deals for customers to take advantage of during their visit.
Another perk offered is customers who sign up for the Save A Lot loyalty program will also receive $5 off a shopping trip of $20 or more between May 13 and May 19.
