JERSEY SHORE, PA (July 28, 2026) – Save A Lot, one of the largest independently owned and operated discount grocery chains in the U.S., today announced its Jersey Shore store located at 701 Allegheny St celebrated customers with several days of special events.
Earlier this month, the store team hosted a two-day sale on select items including eggs, Crown Creamery Ice Cream and other popular Save A Lot private label products. In addition, they hosted a scavenger hunt throughout the store. For two days, customers searched the store for gold stars hidden on the bottom of private label products. Customers that found them received a Save A Lot reusable bag along with a golden scratch off ticket that revealed select prizes including a free item or Save A Lot gift card.
“We love our Jersey Shore community and customers,” said Amy Hoffman, Operations Manager. “So when the team and I were brainstorming ways to show them how much we appreciate them, we thought there was no better way to do that than by offering great deals on the products they love while also having some fun with the scavenger hunt. We loved seeing families and friends come into the store and enjoy the thrill of finding one of those gold stars and a prize from us.”
The customer appreciation didn’t end there. The following week, the store raffled off several Save A Lot baskets as part of WNEP’s “Go Joe” annual fundraising bicycle ride. All proceeds raised from the raffle went to St. Joseph’s Center.
“Giving back to our community is something my store team and I are passionate about,” said Amy Hoffman, Operations Manager. “The opportunity to be a part of this annual fundraiser with the ride stopping right here in Jersey Shore is something my store team and I won’t soon forget. We are proud that our community came out to show their support.”
The Jersey Shore store is open daily from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m.
