GEORGETOWN, KY (September 10, 2026) – Save A Lot, one of the largest value focused grocery chains in the U.S., today announced the store at 217 N Broadway St. in Georgetown, KY is officially re-open after an extended closure. Customers returning to the store will notice upgrades throughout, including an updated look and feel with new flooring, paint, refrigeration and signage, alongside the quality and value they know and expect from Save A Lot.
“We’re excited to reopen our Georgetown store and welcome customers back for a fully refreshed, modern shopping experience,” said Dustin Clemons, Supervisor with Anchor Foods. “We’ve been a part of the Georgetown community since 1995 and are grateful to be able to once again serve our neighbors with fresh, affordable, high-quality foods.”
The Georgetown location was unexpectedly closed last summer when a vehicle crashed into the building’s façade. Owner Anchor Foods leveraged the temporary closure as an opportunity to invest in significant updates throughout the building’s interior. The updated aesthetic and easy-to-shop footprint will make it seamless and more enjoyable for customers to shop for grocery essentials and quality fresh meat and produce.

“Our team has worked hard preparing for this grand re-opening,” said Greg Bowling, Team Lead. “This team knows our customers, and we are incredibly proud to be able to offer the Georgetown community the high-quality shopping experience they deserve.”
Save A Lot believes that all neighborhoods should have access to fresh, high-quality food options. Stores focus on offering everyday low prices on great tasting, high quality private label brands as well as national brand products, USDA-inspected meat cut fresh in store, farm-fresh fruits and vegetables, and other non-food items.
The Georgetown store is open 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Customers can learn more by visiting SaveALot.com.
